About the Project
We4EU is a project that empowers young people to embrace active citizenship in all its dimensions—political, economic, social, cultural, and environmental. It inspires young individuals to move beyond passivity, take control of their lives, make informed decisions, and actively engage in their communities.
Our goal is to equip youth with essential tools, including an understanding of democratic values, conflict management skills, and a commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. Join us in shaping a new generation of active and responsible citizens.
Objectives
Promoting Active Citizenship: We aim to inspire young people to embrace active citizenship in all its dimensions—political, economic, social, cultural, and environmental.
Empowering Decision-Making: We are here to motivate young individuals to take control of their lives, make informed decisions, and create positive change in their communities.
Fostering Democratic Values: We are committed to promoting the understanding of democratic values and providing youth with the tools they need to meaningfully engage in democratic processes.
Conflict Resolution and Peacebuilding: We teach the art of conflict management and peacebuilding, fostering harmony and understanding within diverse communities.
Sustainable Development: Our project aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), guiding young people toward a more sustainable and responsible future.
Activities
Workshops and Meetings: We organize workshops on peace and conflict management and hold roundtable discussions with influential figures, such as the Vice-Chair of the European Parliament’s Education Committee.
Toolkits and Learning Pathways: Inspired by the EU Circular Economy Action Plan, we develop practical toolkits for active citizenship and learning pathways focused on sustainable economy.
Cultural Exchange: We celebrate cultural diversity through a vibrant cultural festival showcasing art and music from around the world, fostering intercultural understanding.
First Aid Skills: We empower young people with valuable first aid skills, enabling them to respond effectively in emergency situations.
Digital Learning: Our digital resources— including e-books, videos, and posters— enhance the learning experience and make knowledge accessible to everyone.
Expected Results
Joining We4EU will empower our youth with:

The kick-off meeting of the WE4EU Erasmus+ Project took place in Helsinki from December 10–14, 2023.
During the meeting, we:
Shared responsibilities among the partners.
Made decisions regarding dissemination tools.
Discussed and finalized the dates and deadlines for project activities and mobilities.
