EDUmom

The project aims to empower women on parental leave through skills development and employment opportunities. By focusing on career growth through local training, it seeks to enhance the skills and knowledge of 40 women on parental leave across European countries.

Through international training and the creation of tangible outputs, the project supports quality improvement and innovation in adult education practices. It also raises awareness among women on parental leave about various lifelong learning opportunities and pathways for continuous education and training.

The project provides women on parental leave with access to a range of learning and skills development options and resources via a dedicated website.

Contributing to the broader Erasmus+ goals of promoting gender equality, lifelong learning, and active participation in the labor market, the project is disseminated through multiplier events in each partner country.

Key project results include:

  • A website featuring a series of 20 training videos on various skills development topics.

  • A guidebook on formal and non-formal education opportunities in partner countries and abroad.

  • A digital toolkit with online tasks to complete for skills enhancement.

Moreover, during international and local training activities, the project helps women on parental leave improve their digital skills, raises awareness about lifelong learning, and offers access to a variety of learning opportunities and resources.
